Territorial Army  units permanently based in BAOR made up almost entirely of former Officers & Soldiers who had taken up residency in West Germany. 

The following have so far been reported:

171 Vehicle Platoon RAOC (V)

171 Vehicle Platoon RAOC (V) was re-formed in April 1986 and were initially accomidated at Muna Barracks Wulfen  for training but sponsored by FVD Recklinghausen.  

Around 1990, the unit moved to Preston Barracks  Recklinghausen when accomidation became available.

We used to meet once a month for a weekend, we didn't do drill nights once a week like the UK TA because most of us travelled a fair distance to attend, and would assist in at least one major exersise a year.

(Same as CVHQ National TA units did in the UK)

213 Sqadron RCT (V) were based at Mönchengladbach probably at Ayshire Barracks North  sponsored by 23 Regiment RCT
