RAF Hambuhren
RAF Hambuhren was a Communications Station situated approximately 8km west of Celle. Opened in 1953, it was only existence for a short period of time, closing in November 1957. From 1957 until 1993, it was home to a Luftwaffe Signals Unit, finally closing in 1994. Demolished in 2000, it was rebuilt is for commercial use.
