I was posted to Northumberland Bks, Menden in Sep 1949. Stationed in the barracks at that time were 22 LAA Regt RA and 201 CRASC. I was with the latter and we occupied accommodation blocks close to the back gate. 201 CRASC moved to West Riding Barracks, Dortmund late in 1950 and were redesignated HQ RASC Rhine Area. 22 LAA Regt RA were still there in 1951 and for some years after. Also in Dortmund in 1950/51 were HQ RASC Rhine Area and 86 Supply Depot RASC
